écho

App-écho desktop

The full power of écho on a large screen: analysis, history and management, for the farmer as for the administration.

The desktop is the complete version of the App-écho, the one for the computer. A single screen, the menu on the left, the module in the middle, and everything you set here is found on the phone and the tablet: the same animals, the same equipment, the same Geo-Zones, the same history.

The phone shows. The computer explains. Behind them, one hundred and thirty engines compute.

It is also the version for administrations. A canton, an office, a body following several organisations finds here the filter, the editors and the validation tools the field does not need to see. Everyone sees only what is theirs, and nothing else.

The dashboard

The left menu never moves. This is where you move from one module to another, without ever going back to a home screen.

It opens on your organisation: its name, your role, and three counters, devices, Geo-Zones and organisations followed. Right below, Heidi's button.

Then the modules, sorted into families that fold with one click: Maps for what is happening now, History for what has happened, Management for everything that gets configured. A fourth family, Administration, appears only for super users, cantons and offices: guardian dogs, organisations, network, integration configurator.

The open module stays highlighted, and the menu remembers what you folded from one session to the next.

The top bar

It follows every module and it talks. The title on the left, then the tools that apply to the whole desktop.

  • The organisation filter. Reserved for administrations: one, several or all organisations at once, and the module recomputes.
  • The ticker. Every operation is announced there. When it commits something, it waits for your confirmation, or your refusal.
  • The tutorial. On every module, the button opens its own, illustrated, in four languages.
  • The refresh. A reload of the data from the server, without leaving the screen.

The analysis library

Every analysis is a tile. You pick it, it opens in a panel, you read it with Heidi, you return to the library.

It is the entrance to the analysis modules. One tile per module, with its icon, its status and a line that says what it is for: 3D Interactions, CEL, Performance, Geo-Zone analysis, Herd fidelity, Data Log, and others added with each version.

There you then choose the animal or the group, the period, and the analysis is computed on the server. The result shows in the panel, copies or exports to PDF, ready to attach to a file.

The Data Log

The simplest and most honest module, and an entrance: one journal per source, each on its own tile. The universal animal journal, all sources together; the journal of GPS tracker changes; one journal per device family, Kraftleben 4G, Satcom and LoRa, Tracking Prime, T-Border, Tag Prime; the equipment; the notifications.

Each tile shows its counters, devices, transmissions from the last twenty-four hours, active ones, and opens the full journal: every transmission as it arrived, before any calculation, filtered by animal, by period, by activity level, exported in one click. It is the raw material of every analysis, and the proof that you can go back to the measurement when an alert raises a question.

Heidi reads with you

A circle in the menu, one click, and Heidi opens next to the module. She knows which one is open, she reads its result and interprets it with you: what is normal, what is not, what deserves a look next.

She answers in your language, on four themes, predators, climate, herd management, economics. And for an administration she reads with the same rigour the report of one organisation or of all of them at once.

Heidi, l'assistante intelligente d'écho

A closed platform

Every access is tied to an organisation, and an organisation sees only what is its own: its animals, its devices, its Geo-Zones, its invoices. An administration sees the organisations it follows, and nothing beyond. Identification is reinforced, the session is checked continuously and closes by itself when it expires.

Data is hosted in Switzerland, never transferred, never sold. What reaches the public maps is the presence of an active sector, never an animal's position nor its keeper's identity.

A version being rebuilt

The desktop is écho's oldest module and its richest. It is being completely rebuilt. What you see today is yesterday's skin over a machine that is already there: sixty modules, one hundred and thirty calculation engines, six device families decoded live.

This page will present the modules family by family as the new version goes live. What already exists, you can see on the smartphone page: the same modules, the same data, read on a smaller screen.
